Tapping the Client menu brings up a list of recently accessed customers. If the customer you need is not present in the popup window, tap Other to gain access to all names in the Names app. If the customer is not in your PDA, tap the Full icon to bring up the All Customer Info window for a new name, which will be saved in the Names app.
Once a client has been selected, the Order Form will automatically fill in the Phone field. If the selected client has more than one phone number entered in the PDA, tapping the Phone pull-down menu will display all listed phone numbers for that particular name. Tap one to select it.
The Time pull-down menu allows the time and date to be set for the current form. A new Order Form defaults to the time and date it was created.
The Payment radio buttons provide for three types of payment. The Check and Credit Card options have further options: a space for check number, or credit card number, expiration, credit card type, and authorization code.
With client and payment info entered, now products may be selected. Tap Product to call up a list of products entered on the PDA. The list is organized alphabetically: tap an item to add it to an order. If there are new items to be added, tap the Add button, or the New button in the Product List view (accessed by the Edit button). Tapping the Add/New buttons brings up the Product Editor window. New items may be added here. Opening the Product Editor through the Edit button also displays a Delete button to allow items to be removed.
The % icon sets the current and default tax rates. The Sig icon provides a window for the client to sign for the order.
