PocketFlash 2 for AOL E-mail!
Existing registered users can upgrade to the newest
version 2.07 for free!...
The
award winning software PocketFlash just got even better. Now with PocketFlash
2 for AOL e-mail you can do more than just send and receive your AOL mail with
your Palm Computing Device; you can also view and compose new messages directly
online. And with the familiar "New," "Read" and "Sent
Mail" tabs interface you'll be managing your AOL e-mail in no time.
All of the great features of PocketFlash 1.1x are still available. But PocketFlash
2 for AOL e-mail adds new features such as online mail viewing and composition,
custom message reading, attachment downloading, and mail sorting.
Thanks to the recent developments with wireless modems, you can now
send and receive your AOL mail with wireless freedom. Wireless modems
allow your Palm OS device to connect to the Internet via TCP/IP. It
connects in the same way as the Palm Modem, but uses wireless connection
similar to cell phones.
PocketFlash works with all color and black-and-white Palm OS devices including
the Palm III, V, m100 series, as well as the Handspring Visor, Platinum, and Prism
devices. As long as you connect your Palm device to a wireless or land-line TCP/IP
modem for Internet connection, you'll be able to send and receive your AOL e-mail
anywhere!
Note to Palm VII and VIIx users:
The Palm VII (Palm seven) is a Palm device with built-in wireless capabilities.
The Palm VII uses the "Palm.net" wireless data system called
"web clipping". PocketFlash is not compatible with web clipping,
however PocketFlash can still be used on a Palm VII if that device is
connected to the Internet with a land-line or TCP/IP wireless modem.
Note to Palm OS 5 users:
PocketFlash may be incompatible with Palm OS 5. Please try the PocketFlash
Demo first and confirm that it works
with your handheld device.
"A perfect program for users of AOL who need constant access to their
e-mail. Excellent documentation is included."
|
"While there are many excellent clients, we felt we should single out
PocketFlash because it allows you to access your AOL mail directly from your Palm
computer. It even allows multiple screen names."
